Motherhood

Dear Jonah and Audrina,
Well it occured to me after a few people commented to me about my blog how gross motherhood could be that maybe I wasn't giving the best impression. Motherhood is wonderful... I had never realized how great it would be to hold a newborn baby in your arms. Their soft skin and their complete trust and unconditional love they give you. Then they grow up and they reach for you and call you when they hurt. You are the only person that can make their boo-boo feel better. To hear the words Mommy, even after a hundred times in a row when you are absolutely busy and on the phone or trying to sleep, it never fails to absolutely melt my heart. To be responsible for this whole nother person is unbelievable and I still look at ya'll while ya'll sleep and wonder, how you could possibly have been in my belly at one point, God is truly amazing. "Are you really all mine?" To know that "all because two people fell in love" ya'll are here today. You are a part of daddy and a part of me and it's so wonderful to see the characteristics and traits that ya'll have gotten from both of us develop as ya'll get older. The throw-up, the poop, the temper tantrums, and two, four, and six o'clock feedings, those are all just added bonuses ;)
