Model

Dear Jonah,
Well last weekend you did your first modeling gig. You didn't get paid for it of course but I wanted to see how you did in front of the camera and how you liked it. Your dad and I have been debating about whether or not to try and put you in some kind of agency to see if you could model clothes or in magazines or something like that. We can't help think you are the most gorgeous boy around. We are biased of course but who could look at those adorable dimples and not fall in love with you (I am not looking forward to you dating by the way. I know the girls will be lined up around the block, and I already know that no little girl will be good enough for my little boy). Anyways, someones grandparents at your school own a wood shop that makes children's play toys and benches out of wood that they sale to schools and daycare centers. They needed volunteer kids to model for their 09 catalog. I jumped at the chance. I asked you if you wanted to do it and although you were kind of didn't understand what the big deal was of taking pictures you agreed. After all, I take so many pictures of you and your sister that I'm sure you don't know the difference. Well we showed up to the place and you went right to work. You took direction like a pro. You played when you were supposed to, didn't look at the camera when you were supposed to, and most of all you smiled your little heart out. I think you smiled too big. It's too cute though. You can totally tell your fake smile from your true smile because in your fake smile you show all your teeth and squint your eyes tiny tiny. It was really cute and even if they don't use the pictures of you showing all your teeth and your eyes little slashes it was worth it to see how much fun you had. You thought you were a big deal and when they were done taking pictures and switching the sets, you went in to full model mode "Mom, they are taking forever! I want them to take my picture already!" Good thing I had brought lots of snacks for you and your sister or else I don't think ya'll would have made it! Hopefully the pictures turned out great and I can't wait to see the catalog. You really enjoyed the experience and said that you wanted to do it again. Maybe we do need to look for an agency?....
Love always and forever,
Mommy
